I disagree somewhat. My mother was called for jury duty and turns out the victim of the crime was her old boss. There was no way she could have been impartial.

Protect the identity of the prospective jurors! Revise the questions! There is no need to know their current or previous employers – or their neighborhood, their education, marital status, or information about their partners! And don't provide their physical descriptions!

When I was on jury duty in district court, the first thing the judge did for jury selection was to introduce prosecutors and the defendant/defendant's lawyers to ask if we knew any of them, as that would be reason for dismissal.
