This is the big danger.

The case seems strong enough that getting 12 jurors to acquit seems unlikely, especially as Trump's behaviour will likely reflect baldy on him in court. But it just takes one to get a mistrial. Not even one MAGA- just one person who's too scared to convict a President.

And for Trump, a mistrial might be nearly as good as an outright acquittal.

I’m no lawyer, but I think the counter to that is the jury needs a unanimous verdict on just ONE of the counts, not all of them.

And when there’s a miscreant in the jury, they often come to a compromise to be innocent on half of the counts and guilty on the other half.

Advantage prosecution.
