It's almost always user's error. "Why won't this damn thing do what I want instead of doing what I command it to do" is one of many things that makes me mutter 'super bad words' .

I'm unclear what you mean by poor documentation but I can say that I am not the most savvy person when it comes to techie thingies.

Millions of years ago, I wrote manuals 4 computer languages & operating systems, even some hardware. I am appalled at the quality of writing I see when I get a new widget & try 2 figure it out. I blame our whole educational system (& company managers) 4 the lack of sensitivity 2 learning principles.
