Carrie, like the movie

my ICU has had a little youngster on our unit for the past 16 days. The patient had a tumor removed and had a drain in their head to reduce swelling and couldn’t leave the ICU until they were “drain-free”. Yesterday they were able to leave and drew a pic for the nurses. #DailyPictureTheme #free 🥰

😊 Indeed! We all agreed it needs to be framed and put in our break room. We don’t get very many pediatric patients because usually they go to a children’s hospital. Maybe 5 or 6 times a year we get kids due of the complexity of their tumor. Can’t imagine how scary it was for the pt + mom and dad
