Cars as TV Stars
Who could forget the ‘76 Gran Torino striped tomato catching baddies? Or the “futuristic” ‘82 Firebird KITT? The laid-back smooth of Magnum’s red Ferrari 308 GTS or the flashy glitz of the white Miami Vice Testarossa?
Voting ends Tuesday at Midnight PST.

I will always have a soft spot for the Gran Torino (my family owned the wagon when I was a kid) and Starsky and Hutch was one of the first “cop shows” I watched. So voting for that one for purely sentimental reasons

I don’t know what kind of station wagon(s) my family had but I remember sitting the “way back” and going to the drive-in movies in pajamas.

I particularly remember that station wagon, because it was burnt orange in color, and therefore got the nickname “Great Pumpkin”. We went back and forth to Florida in it. And I think it got about 8 miles to the gallon.
