Gonna be a long trial.
The jury will bond. Each day, they will study the defendant.
They'll get to know him--the mystique will fade. They'll start to mentally place bets predicting his behavior.

The longer it is, the smaller he gets & the braver THEY get.
He's just a guy. They can convict a guy.

I have never been selected to serve on a jury. I would do it too. My longest day actually at the court was 4 hours spent working on a puzzle. All the other times I called in and didn't have to go in. Greater Los Angeles must have a large selection.

I served for the first time last week. Apparently, most cases settle before jury selection starts.
I will say, we were taking bets on who would ask to approach the bench first and how many times it would happen, etc. Nothing about the people, since we couldn't discuss case before deliberations.
