Controversial? It’s not healthy for any local, state or federal government to have a single party supermajority, including democrats. There are no checks and balances or needs to compromise, and essentially is not a representative government.

We need more parties, collations, & collaboration.

Sorry I missed this when you posted. I can think of so many examples where liberal majority was an absolute victory but the best victories are when the majority comes from both liberal and conservative justices. I think it’s a relief to the country that happens. It’s accepted more broadly.

Linking an article on Politico on what can be achieved by working together. It’s a good read.

It’s perfectly imperfect but I think the outcome is better with cooperation. The founders never imagined a two party system where one party has rule over all branches, otherwise no check and balances.
