If it's not hurting anybody, I'd leave it?

We’re just concerned it might fall and hurt an animal or the neighbor’s children. Our other neighbor is going to come over with his chainsaw and at least cut it so it’s all on the ground. Then we’ll leave it where it falls. I’d love to leave it as is, but I guess it could be dangerous.

We don't, but great idea! We'll have to ask if they do. 👍🏻

I say both leave it unless it is hurting the growth of other trees.

I was thinking the same thing. I kinda like the way it looks and I saw a couple of squirrels chasing each other on it right after I took the picture. Fun!

Local law say it’s the responsibility of whoever’s property it lands on.

Yes, we just have to figure out where the property line is.

Two options: Each pay half to have it removed, or leave it. Fallen trees in a wild area, as this appears to be, support wildlife and the ecosystem.

I wouldn't mind leaving it. I think it's cool just the way it is. And right after I took the picture there were two squirrels chasing each other on it. I think they like it too.
