For decades I've heard Republicans talk about deregulation but I never heard their WHY. Specifics. Details. Ask an (R) talking abt deregulation "which ones? & Why?"

Republicans' "deregulation" talking point is meaningless, but works w/their base. Why?

Because the corporate overlords pay big bucks to buy Republicans who pass laws that allow them to pollute/steal/cheat/pay slave wages and commit other equally horrible atrocities with impunity, and Republicans then successfully gaslight their voters into believing all regulations are bad.

Unfortunately, the media is sadly failing at asking crucial questions like this. Like what is Republicans plan if they succeed in abolishing SS/Medicare? Will everyone who contributed get their money back with interest? Do they plan on replacing these plans? They got squat...just like healthcare.

Few talking hairdos in the media ask the follow-up that begs to be asked. Few politicians will even stoop to answer a ? from a constituent never mind from a reporter. Just asking a question, people get attacked by GOP. Ex: Gianforte in MT, DeSantis in FL. & Trump.

LWV need to run all debates.
