Truth, and once this foolery is over we're going to demand the Pennsylvania Legislature put protections in place to keep carpet baggers from running.
Jeff Russell @ImJeffRussell1
Dave McCormick wants to be in the Senate so bad that he'll say he's a resident of Pennsylvania (not Conneticut) just to get it.

Sorry Dave, Dr. Oz (New Jersey) just tried this a few years back and we didn't elect him either.

Sorry, but the Constitution says they can run coming from anywhere in the US. It's up to the voters to vote for a local person.

About that...all 50 states has residency requirements. Even Alabama will enforce that to the T. Yes, I was in elementary school when Charles Barkley wanted to run for Alabama Governor in the 90s but he was told he had to live there for 5 years full-time. We already did this with Dr. Oz in 2022.

The discussion was about the Senate. Governors are a different story.
Dr Oz was on the ballot, but lost (Yay!)

Actually, my bad. It's only the House that allows "outsiders" as explained in the Constitution. You must reside in the State to be a Senator, though it doesn't have a explanation of how long...
