This reminded me of a rental apartment in Adelaide, Aus, with a glass-walled toilet cubicle right next to the 'kitchen' (albeit one without in-built cooking facilities).

Which one do you think is worse?

I find it more strange that the apartment doesn't have a kitchen. I've seen houses that were built with no indoor plumbing and then retrofitted cheaply put a shower in the kitchen so they only have to install one water line. The toilet was outside though.

I guess they expected the tenant to bring their own countertop appliances and/or extensively utilise the local eateries!
