If you buy a stacking washer and dryer, and INTEND to stack them, be sure to buy the appropriate stacking kit so that you do not have to make not one, but TWO trips to get one. #WordOfAdvice

They didn't come with a stacking kit? That's rude.

Apparently you're supposed to divine that. They suggest all the other necessary parts (including the power cable for the dryer, which you would THINK just comes with it), but failed to ask the simple question of whether these were GOING TO BE STACKED. Which is why I bemoan the Internet.

In answer to the stack kit, about one in ten FL washers/dryers get stacked. Why include a kit that will be tossed on 9 out of 10 cases. As for the cord: What type of plug do you have? 3 prong or 4?
You would be REALLY pissed if you had to rewire to plug it in.
