I recognize this pattern from when I had toddlers. When 2-3 yo kids are developing, they try to control everything to see where limits are and what they can get away with. TFG has a similar MO. Even if it's negative control, like forcing you to take them out of the grocery store because

of a meltdown, that is still a form of control. Likewise, I think we see T trying to get thrown in jail overnight for violating his gag order. He's trying to force the adult into actions that the adult would rather not take. The man is literally operating with a toddler mindset.

It's for this reason I think Judge Merchan is handling this correctly. By letting the man baby know his behaviors are unacceptable, but also refusing to derail the trial because of those behaviors, he's continuing to deny the big toddler the control he craves. This is likely unbearable for TFG.
