Pam, the answer is yes. Go to your timeline and on the far right is a gear icon. Click on that. You can have news in your timeline by choosing the option under that.

In order to get news to show in your regular timeline, I suspect that the news outlet would have to have a Spoutible account and you'd have to follow that account. Otherwise, you have to toggle to news on Spoutible.

Initially, the news was mixed in with the timeline. At some point, that changed. Someone recently posted a guide for Post folks that included the comment that you could choose either to have News in your timeline or separate. But I'm not seeing how to do that.
