Today's oral arguments on presidential immunity are making my blood pressure rise. Appears I'm not the only one either. Elie Mystal and many others are smoking from the ears. So far all I can glean is that SCOTUS conservatives are leaning towards immunity.

IMHO, they won't rule until it's almost election time. I would prefer they rule ASAP, but you know how they are. Also, again IMHO, if they ruled for immunity even now, Biden is to good and decent of a human to test that theory out.

I just don't feel good about any of this.

The Extreme Court is demonstrating in real time what it looks like when a branch of government has no accountability or restraints. Essentially they HAVE absolute immunity.

I'm no lawyer, so I wonder how they would grant immunity to TFG without granting it to every POTUS.

There would have to be some pretty wild legal & moral gymnastics for them to say "yeah, we grant immunity - but only to **him** & no one else"

As if they care about the arguments. They would find against a Democratic president in a heartbeat.

If they do, Biden should test the theory and arrest them.

Biden is too decent of a human being to do anything like that.
