What is the best way to recover after working out? Being sore for a day does not make me want to work out again :)

Stretching is key! Use a foam roller or even a (tennis or lacrosse) ball to help work out sore spots. You can also take a bath with Epsom salt. The more you consistently workout, the less it will hurt.

The build up of lactic acid is a big factor in some avoidable soreness. After workout stretching could help.

When I started working out my body was VERY sore for about a week but I pushed through it. Now I work out 3 times a week and no soreness.

Unfortunately it has not work out for me -been at it for a few months. I am still working out and just deal with it but I am wondering if I am missing something.
