Rise of the 'supercentenarians' as more French people live past 100.

As of 1 January, 2024, the number of people older than 100 years stood at more than 31,000: that's a quadrupling of the age group in less than a quarter of a century!!!😳

My grandmother is 99. Her sister lived to 100.
The quality of life is key

WoW you've got some great genes going on there!🥳
I think genetics is probably the biggest factor, as some of those who live to 100 drink alcohol, smoke etc.

True genes play a very strong part in longevity
She has all her teeth but one. She lost it because she cracked it straightening a sewing machine needle. It fell out 20 yrs after the crack.
That's genes, no amount of calcium is going to give you strong teeth like that, though they will be strong 😂

I have severe osteoporosis, yet I have all of my own teeth and they are in very good condition at almost 64!
I'm kinda sceptical about calcium supplementation TBH
I've always had ample calcium in my diet
