"'The student-led protest was peaceful'....college campuses have hosted and produced some of the most salient and well-organized anti-war dissent in America. Calling in the National Guard is an attempt to definitively crush these movements and temper their ability to sway public opinion."

No, it's worse:

They're trying to recreate 1968, with NatGuards killing students, and protests escalating to riots at the Dem convention

This
— damaged Dems for DECADES
— elected the previous criminal president, Nixon
— prolonged the war they protested against by 6 years

FOCUS
Don't protest,

Yes, they don't have anything to offer that voters want, so their only chance is to try to discredit Democrats, and progressive policies in general. I support the right to peacefully protest such horrors though, and hope that this experience activates them politically, so that the youth turnout is🔥

Of course we have & I support RIGHTS to protest

But just b/c we CAN doesn't mean we SHOULD, and this is not the time

Protests are far too easy to hijack and make naive protesters take blame for abhorrent violent acts

In this few months, it could cost us democracy forever

Best to hold off & VOTE
