I’ve had Dells for the past like 20 years, my current one is a 5yo laptop, no problems. I just think a) some ppl are just ready to write a company off at every slight inconvenience, and b) some ppl treat their PCs like 💩 and blame the company instead of their own incompetence. 🤷🏾‍♂️

A lot of people complain about Dell computers but in my experience, they have been okay.

I currently have a Dell laptop that has been through the ringer - used and abused. And, while it sounds like a sputtering '57 Chevy, it still works. Kind of amazing.

I guess you get lucky sometimes.

I try to baby anything I spend money on, but ASUS has outperformed Dell for me for many years. I'll give Dell props for their customer service - the only reason I went back to them last time. But ASUS machines have always lasted longer, performed better, and honestly are a more "luxury" experience.

Yep. When I worked at my mom’s computer shop we used to call it either an ID10T error or PEBKAC, which stands for Problem Exists Between Keyboard And Computer 😂
