That is true. I saw a post about possible infections in QC. My daughter loves to have birds fly to her hand. At least she agreed to keep her gloves on.

I've seen some recommendations to stop feeding birds. It makes me sad because I love seeing them at the feeder, but don't want to make them targets for disease.

When my daughter was in treatment for breast cancer, the birds at the feeder and on her walks kept her going. Now she recognizes every chirp. How sad. Hubby will take them all down tomorrow.

every bird feeder i ever erected attracted mice. guess what the mice attracted? hint: we celebrate them here every saturday. it became my cat adoption supply line.
