These are comparatively tiny protests. More akin to anti-apartheid or Rodney King ones when I was in school. Press needs to quit making it seem like it's bigger than #BLM or the anti-Iraq protests

Fifty-six years ago to the day, Columbia students furious over the U.S. involvement in the Vietnam War and the school’s plans to build a segregated gym in nearby Morningside Park decided to take over Hamilton Hall, an academic building on the main campus.

It’s truly hard to gauge the differences in numbers. Especially when 3rd party chaos agents are mixed in.

All you need is pictures. There are physically fewer bodies. This isn't 10,000+s at each protests, more 1000-2000

Damn, add on a substantial number of 3rd party agents, & thousands of other students & faculty @ these colleges just wanting to remain uninvolved…yeah that puts things into perspective. Thanks

I went to the anti-Iraq protests in the 2000s and they were easily 3x as big. And every protest has the 3rd party agents. It's a feature not a bug
