NYPD has been given access to campus until May 17th...which means until AFTER graduation. This also points to the fact that they acknowledge there are many non-student agitators on the campus.

From the Columbia student's radio station covering it live, they are finding out that many of the individuals inside Hamilton Hall are NOT students.

This is info direct from the administration.

And also shows a serious lack of security at the college.

We absolutely shouldn't be stopping Americans from peacefully protesting.

However, we also learned that majority were outsiders, who aren't students.

It's a tricky situation.

I feel deeply for the peaceful student protesters. I also feel for Jewish students who were made to feel unsafe.

I felt the frustration of the student journalists, at the fricking only college in the country with a post-grad journalism dept, being denied the same access though as the mainstream media. That was not right.

Everyone has the right to protest, but student journalists deserve the same to report.
