So, while I'm thankful that the AZ Senate was able to find 2 GOP members to pull their heads out of their asses & vote like it's 2024 & not 1864, I feel like it's important to note that this repeal will not go into effect for months & the GOP still feels comfortable dictating to women what our

rights are & should be. The women of Arizona will still be subjected to a (somewhat less) draconian 15 week ban. Women will still be endangered when something goes wrong in their pregnancy later than 15 weeks. Women will still have to flee the state for healthcare in some instances. So, while this

Is a win, it's only clawing back a very small bit of our rights to our own bodies. Abortion will still be on the ballot and we must not fall for the fake ballot initiatives the AZ GOP intends to add to split our vote and keep us from voting for proper reproductive healthcare. Stay vigilant.
