Being friends with a number of artists, I’ve learned art is in the eye of the beholder. Don’t get me wrong, his being a former President definitely helps, but I have seen what I personally consider to be worse too. There are famous artists whose pieces I look at and go “meh.”

I mean absolutely no disrespect, and I admire the dedication to creative arts by anyone/everyone, but, Real Talk, if he weren't a prominent person would they see the light of day? They aren't very good... are they? Even accounting for stylism, they still seem a bit unrefined.

In response to Danielle Johnson.
Oh, yes, I understand the eye of the beholder assessment, but I can't help but think this is Famous Person/Former POTUS value enhancement at work. I've seen 5th grader produced portraits rendered with more sophistication.
