I can't make sense of this. Primary doc's nurse measured my height last August. today another doc's nurse found me to be THREE INCHES shorter. something's off about this. and no, I do NOT have osteoporosis!!!

Have had that happen over the years, too.
Now, depends on what they're using. My GP uses the scale with the ruler, but all the nurses are 6" or more shorter than me, so lower readings. Hematologist has one that does height/weight when you step on it, so always over 5'10", which is accurate.

I stood on a platform w/ a sliding arm that she lowered to my head. we did it twice w/ the same result. It's really big difference so I'm baffled!
