This monstrosity was near St Louis, MO back in the day. I remember it was $50 a person, all you can eat. The food was laid out like a lavish buffet. It had a hotel attached. It was weird.

To me, this ark has always been an unintended artpiece on the white flight in the St. Louis area. How they all got up and drove 30+ minutes away, and put down roots there. How, suddenly, the jobs were gone. The brick houses St. Louis boasts about were left to crumble. This ark sat on the divide.

Your spout reminded me of The Flagship, since renamed, a decommissioned fishing trawler originally hauled up a creek then backfilled to permanently moor it ... now an abandoned eyesore on Rt13 in Seaford, DE.

I took my date here on prom night in 1971 ... 53 years ago.
