A gag order stops a defendant from intimidating witnesses and jurors.

The 5th Amendment guarantees a defendant the right to testify — or choose not to.

If Trump does not testify, it’s because he chooses not to — NOT because of a gag order.

It is also perfectly normal for Defendants to not testify in their own criminal trials. In Trump' case, no defense attorney in their right mind would let him anywhere near the witness stand because he would take him about the same amount of time he spent with Stormy Daniels to sink his own case
