I agree on this one. The fear always expressed is that if you jail the turd they can always come back, claim there was a mistrial, claim he couldn’t campaign, fundraise off the drama blah blah. The importance of holding him accountable like any other defendant far outweighs these risks in this case

Not sure how you read that from my comment ??? All the reasons that court personnel and others have for "not" jailing him (which may be more relevant in other cases) do not outweigh the importance of jailing him if he cannot behave like an adult. So yeah, if he can't shut it he should be jailed.
