We purposely did that because most people will not expand, and short summaries when fact-checking isn't as effective as the longer format we employed.

The real-time fact checking is a great new feature.
They are a bit on the longer side, though. Maybe just the final conclusion would be enough to show and an "read more" to expand?

What about keeping the longer format, but maybe replacing the constant title of "Accuracy Alert!" with any of a range of conclusive titles?
For example: True, Mostly True, False, BS, WTF...

Also, question: how does the "Challenge Fact-Check" option work?

I understand. It probably looked worse now in the beginning when you were trying it out on your timeline. Hopefully, users won't spout too many things that need fact-checking.

I agree that verbose alerts emphasise Spoutible’s commitment to the importance of accuracy

Looking ahead, can/should these feed into Bot Sentinel scores and/or automated reporting procedures or should they remain separate?
