I agree with what Lawrence O'Donnell says here, but I also feel some pity for Hicks. Her time on the stand seems to have been a sort of intervention for her, a moment of clarity when she finally realized that she'd been duped all those years. It's hard to admit that you've been conned.

She was privy to the facts about trump from the git go yet persisted in his employ. Not sure what the crying was about but sympathy trolling to save herself isn't that farfetched.

Seen city rats with more morals than her.

The crying may well have been a ploy, and that's something we'll only be able to judge by her future actions. For now we can only hope that she's seen the light.
