Bears are more dangerous to women than men

Accuracy Alert!

The claim 'Bears are more dangerous to women than men' is not supported by the sources provided. The data from the North American Bear Center points out that black bears in North America kill less than one person per year on average, while men ages 18-24 are 167 times more likely to kill someone than a bear. Other sources mention various risks and dangers faced by women, including violence and health risks associated with alcohol use, but none suggest that bears pose a higher risk to women than to men. Therefore, the available information does not substantiate the claim that bears are more dangerous to women than men.

I would like the alert to list its sources. That is the only way to vet the AI independently

They did, and the North American Bear Center is a great quality source. It would be awesome if it included links to its references though 🤔

Yes, a link would definitely be convenient. Here's another side of that argument.
Depending on a reader's keyboard/computer knowledge, they can also just copy/paste or type the source name into another tab for more detailed info.

That said, all is not lost w/out a hyperlinked source name.
