#DailyPictureTheme #tear
Not a tear was shed, fake injury at the county disaster simulation. I was always impressed my kids were willing to spend an entire day (even getting up early!) volunteering for this. Photo by my daughter.

In response to Sheena.
Almost always the first radio call at these was for “apparent heart attack. This is not a drill.”
Like every pregnant woman due soon would go into hard labor as soon as the fireworks started at Edgewater Park. Red Cross volunteer for 5 years.

IMHO, First Aid fundamentals (at least) should be taught in HS Phys Ed class. At my HS (way back when) they kinda started teaching it - but it was just a superficial, token effort.

As an adult, hearing of friend[s] (yeah, more than one!) that died laugh-choking on food just pisses me right off! 🤬
