Alzheimer’s - They call it “The Long Goodbye…”
May 4th, 2024 I lost my friend of over 35 yrs. We called him family. Over the yrs I mostly talked to him daily & more than actual blood family. Shared a million memories. He will not suffer anymore… ❤️

Thank you… I have Missed talking to him for awhile now. The disease of Alzheimer’s of horrible… just horrible… Now he doesn’t have to suffer anymore..

It’s good to know that he is no longer suffering. When my mother passed away I would imagine her sitting next to me. I would talk to her as if she was actually there. It helped. I hope reminiscing on the good times will bring you comfort.

I talk out loud to my grandma. I find that to help me - so I truly understand what you are saying. Right now I am just trying to accept what I have known was coming… it’s still hard for my mind to take in. As I posted this I released some more tears…
