I agree with this. For me, the main difference is that when I go to Twitter, I often end up feeling angry, helpless, frustrated, overwhelmed, alienated. Then I come here, and I feel calm, relaxed, curious, and reminded that most people are not on Twitter. For me, it’s a feeling difference. 💚

This place is never going to be a twitter alternative. It just won't. That might not be the point either. I still find great content over on twitter. I especially appreciate the creative types, musicians, authors, academics. The population of Spoutible is just different. Not better. Different.

Not been my experience. In fact, I've faced more racist shit directed towards me here more than twitter. At least the nazis on twitter acknowledge that they are indeed nazis. This place often feels like the white, gated community of a suburb of a bigger city.
