A PSA on cutting board maintenance. I re-oil my cutting boards every year. They make butcher block oil for this purpose. It's food safe. Clean the surface, apply the oil evenly with an old rag. Don't leave any pooled and let it dry for a couple hours. Give it a quick wash and it's good to go. It

makes the boards look good, last longer, they're less absorbent and easier to clean. I also use it on my magnetic knife block. I love that thing. It's space efficient vs. a standard knife block.
