As much as I would love to have him in jail – I too worry about the martyr points he would crack up.

In a weird way I believe not throwing DJT in jail is more punishment right now than giving him a few nights in jail. I think this is why the prosecutors still won't ask for jail. He has no control while this trial lays out his crimes. Lockup would give him some control of the narrative again.
