[Ray] Comfort offers up the 'ironclad argument' that bananas are proof of God's intelligent design of the natural world because "the banana and the hand are perfectly made, one for the other."

Accuracy Alert!

Based on credible sources, it can be confirmed that the claim that "[Ray] Comfort offers up the 'ironclad argument' that bananas are proof of God's intelligent design of the natural world because 'the banana and the hand are perfectly made, one for the other'" is indeed factual. Evangelist Ray Comfort has presented this argument to support the existence of a spiritual deity through the example of a banana's ease of human consumption, and its physical compatibility with the human hand. However, it is also important to note that Comfort retracted this argument upon learning that the banana as we know it is a result of human-led artificial selection. So, while he did indeed make the argument, he later recognized it as flawed.

The edit feature is great to have, for sure. Though, I've quickly become partial to the Accuracy Alerts.

Oops. I called them Fact Checks, but they are more properly called Accuracy Alerts.
