As much as marriage is a religious act, it's also entering into a legal contract. And you have to be 18 to do that in nearly EVERY state. We have to fix these laws to match what we say is legal in ALL cases.

I had to Google PA's laws to see when we banned it.

Not until 2020. (Thank you, Gov. Tom Wolf!)

Until then, ages 16-17 could marry with parental consent. (I was 17; my mom signed and still regrets it.) Ages 14-15 required judicial consent.
