Do you like stories where the end is left to the imagination? Or do you prefer the story (book, movie, etc) wrap it all up at the end?

I have been thinking about this book and all the possible endings and it's driving me a bit crazy, but does that mean it's doing a good job, staying on the mind?

Happiness Falls is a novel about a family in crisis after the father goes missing, leaving a disabled son at the park to fend for himself and two more children and a wife at home. The dramatic week that follows leads them to a possible answer, but doubts linger in the end. Very interesting read.

I need it wrapped up at the end. I don't like the open what-ifs.

Same! This book was beautifully written, but it didn't tell the end of the story. I low key hate it. 😂
