One of my friends told me she's divorcing her husband.

Which i think is great for her.

If anyone can offer suggestions on how to support her I'd appreciate the feedback.

In response to Raquel.
She's lucky to have you as a friend.
Let her know you're available to listen, without judging...
She'll likely have good days and bad days, might be more emotional than expected... at least, it was for me, and I was the one who wanted the divorce.

It's definitely for the best

I want her to know I'm here and available. I've told her that I want to support her in any way that I can.

I know she's emotional amd she deserves better in married life.

Sometimes (depends on the day...) I would rather have a friend make a specific suggestion (lt's go get Chinese food for dinner) rather than saying, "Let me know what I can do" ... because some days, I couldn't make *any* kind of decision.
With specifics, she can say Y or N, not feel pushed.
