Indiana had its primary today. There is trouble in trump country even though we are a very red state. Nikki Haley got 23% of the vote. Indiana went blue for Obama when he was elected. Indiana has a slim possibility of going blue again If Biden can get those Nikki Haley voters! GOTV!

Indiana also has a strict abortion law. I wonder how this might play in a state where people feel their rights are being taken away?

1/2 Hopefully it plays in favor side of the Dems. The governor candidate is (R) Mike Braun. As senator he stated interracial marriages should also be regulated by states & not fed law. His commercials brag about his endorsement from trump & how he’ll implement all trump’s policies. Hopefully all of

I think a lot of it in Midwest states is about whether cities can outvote rural areas. In Indiana you probably need the suburbs to have a chance. State population is 6.8m, metro Indianapolis is 1.9m, Gary is 700k. Throw in college-town metros (Lafayette, Bloomington) and you're around 2.8.

You’re right. We have to get the suburbs to have a chance.

Just under 22 now (it won't go lower, 99% is in), but yeah. That is horrifyingly bad for the presumptive nominee, a former President, this late in the primary, when their opponent has already dropped out.

And this is before his possible felony conviction in a few weeks.

Not a good look at all. This should give them grave concern.
