Here's the bill. As I read it, it phases in $15 by 2028, unless the business is small, the employee is under 16, or the employer can "demonstrate" that tips bring it $15 -- in which case the minimum wage would be $7.50. I don't like it, but frankly I was expecting worse.

$15/hr 50 hrs week =

Yep. And I don't believe them when they say the employer will have to demonstrate the tips make it $15.
