#Spoutabout #Gardens self seeding tangent: Tomatillos. Bought them once 8 years ago. Every year they come up in my East bed. I decide to leave a couple and by August they’ve gone nuts and we have more fruit than we can use. The soil has been almost completely switched out. They keep coming!

african daisies. where i live it rains almost zero from may to oct. they thrive even in drought and are covered in blooms all summer.

they’re annuals, but where there’s no frost act like perennials. and they self seed. i love a low maintenance plant that looks great with neglect.

I take out beds of Oregano every year. It spreads everywhere. The plus side is the bees and butterflies love it.

We have a pot full of it that’s been going a couple years now. I keep saying I’m going to dry some and give it to people. Hasn’t happened.
