Question for the Tech Savvy among us:

How does one determine if an account has lifted some real person’s profile pic?

(Especially when the pics look like they come from a dating site.)

Have you tried downloading the image and then do a Google search?

I haven’t yet. I wondered if there was something more specific. 🤷🏻‍♀️

And then, if you find that it's from someone else's account, how do determine who the real person is without Kitty Carlisle's assistance?

Hey Pamela,

If you can't find it using tineye, there's alternatives out there. That being said, I know of no other way to reverse image search to see if a photo is lifted from another source.

https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=tineye+alternative
