Mayo Clinic Nutrition tip of the week

Dark chocolate (70% or higher) may boost heart health due to its abundance of flavonoids, which can prevent blood clots and lower blood pressure. (Can't argue with that 😁 )

As a small child I loved milk chocolate. As time has passed, I've preferred darker and darker kinds. Recently my mate and I have discovered we enjoy Baker's chocolate. That's 100%...Zero sugar or anything else. Sans sugar makes it less addictive, but to our aging tastebuds it's still heavenly. 🍫

My mother only likes milk chocolate. I hated it as a child, hate it even more as an adult. I discovered dark chocolate because she often had a bowl of Hershey miniatures sitting around. The Dark Specials were ignored. One day I asked to try one. It was love at first bite. ❤️
