Making your own from scratch is easy. You can do it ahead of time to make it go quicker if needed.
It also gives control over things like salt (Sodium) content and the kind of flour or other grain that go into the pancakes.

Can't even have Kodiak in the house. My son in law is highly allergic to buckwheat which is a typical ingredient in their products.
He has an anaphylaxis reaction within seconds to exposure. So much so that I have to keep an epi pen in the house and he carries one 24/7.

Kodiak is my choice too. It's easy to add more items to it. Up the protein which helps counter to carb high.
