Not enough are talking about how the Utah Utes women's basketball team was racially harassed in March in Idaho.

Especially as this week, no criminal charges were filed because, apparently, jokingly using "ni**er" is deemed protected speech. 🧵1/4

Interview accounts and video evidence proved the claims of racist and sexual taunts and prosecutors agreed that the suspect's language was racist and misogynistic.

But according to Idaho law, they weren’t criminal.

So why wasn't the suspect charged with disorderly conduct?

According to the Coeur d’Alene city prosecutor's office, prosecuting people for publically harassing others with racist and sexual taunts that are meant to be funny would violate their free speech rights.

So harassing people with racist and misogynistic taunts in public is ok as long as it's done in a comedic way.

But DEI is the real problem that must be stopped, right?

This is why more people need to be aware of what happened to the Utah Utes.
