My 15 year old shih tzu needs some teeth removed and I'll do anything for my babies, but oh boy is it pricey! The quote is $2500-$3400... 😳

My 11y/o Shih Tzu had his remaining 4 teeth removed in Dec and my vet’s estimate was $1,500-$1,800 but I had it done at the Humane Society for $600. My 2y/o Westie broke a molar last month and the vet quoted $1,650 - $1,850 for the extraction. I found a “low cost vet” for $800. Call around.

Awww, sweet baby without teeth. My little guy might not have many left either. Thankfully they apparently do just fine without them. My little ones eat soft cooked food anyway, so at least it won't be a food format transition.

This is Ziggy, sans teeth. I’ve been hand feeding him for about 3 1/2 years even while he still had four teeth in the back. He does great and is a healthy boy.
