Trying new bread recipe today. The math of 18hr rise+2 hr rise+1hr bake was rough lol. Like, what time do I want bread? And then subtract 🤣🤦‍♀️. Anyway, putting in oven soon. The NYT sucks for democracy but is great for bread?

Ok, so this kid in the instructional video is making everything look really easy. He is clearly a plant, a trained cooking operative. I’ve watched the video a normal number of times.

Ok. It’s in the oven. The video and recipe both say the dough will fill the space. I am doubtful. I only had an oval Dutch oven in this size, not round one asked for. Does bread care about shape??!! Idk. Now I wait….

I did it!!!!! And now I have to wait. Then I will make out with the bread and the butter I put on it.
