You know I just thought of something. Traditional OTA/Cable TV don't take chances with programming anymore. In fact even AMC is starting to get stale, but back in the day even Fox took chances...and now it's formulaic and predicable.

I feel that’s why Abbott Elementary being successful so far on ABC should be celebrated since quality shows like this mostly end up on streaming

Yeah, it also doesn't help that networks are too afraid of a half-million dollar fine from the FCC either. It's been damn near 20 years since Nipplegate.
